Carroll County is ideally located within 600 miles of 66% of the population of the United States along I-77 in the Commonwealth of Virginia and only a short twelve miles south of I-81/I-77 Interchange in the mid-Atlantic Region. We are located close to three major Airports, Charlotte International (CLT), Roanoke (ROA), and Piedmont Triad International in Greensboro (GSO).
Carroll County is a business-friendly place that offers a solid workforce, no zoning, an efficient permitting and inspection process and forward-thinking leadership. The County works closely with both state and federal government programs to attract new businesses to the County and to expand the footprint of its exisiting companies.
