The Carroll County Maintenance Department is responsible for the upkeep of the County Governmental Center and all county owned properties.
The Maintenance office is located in the Ground floor of the Carroll County Governmental Center.

Responsibilities of the Carroll County Maintenance Department include janitorial services, mowing, snow removal, and electrical/plumbing projects.
The main objective of this department is to keep contracting costs down by performing as much maintenance “in-house” as feasibly possible.
The County Cannery falls under the supervision of the county maintenance department allowing access to all interested county citizens. The Cannery is located on Farmers Market Drive behind the Direct Sales Building at the Southwest Virginia Farmers Market.
The County Maintenance Garage and the Cana Waste and Recycling Facility also falls under the supervision of the maintenance department.
As of July 1, 2020, any vehicle maintenance establishment located in Carroll County Virginia wishing to do business with Carroll County Government on service & repair on any county owned vehicle must be a registered vendor with Eva-Virginia Market Place.
