Veterans Memorial Highway to be Dedicated October 20th

VMHSign As a result of the efforts of local WWII veteran Clyde Easter (Purple Heart and Oak Leaf Cluster awardee at Anzio Beach) Bland, Wythe and Carroll Counties will join together to celebrate the naming of U.S. Rt. 52 from the West Virginia border to the North Carolina border as "Veterans Memorial Highway." The celebration wll take place

Saturday, October 20th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

There will be events in each county.
