Carroll County, launched a discount card program to help consumers cope with the high price of prescription drugs beginning February 1, 2006. The county continues to make free prescription drug discount cards available to our citizens under a program sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACO).  There is no cost as well as no forms to fill out, no age or income requirements and no medical condition restrictions.

The cards may be used by all county residents, regardless of age, income, or existing health coverage, and are accepted at all local county pharmacies. A national network of more than 57,000 participating retail pharmacies also will honor the NACo prescription discount card.
